Last week, the community of Washougal came together to honor its local heroes at the annual Hometown Heroes event. Hosted at the Washougal Community Center on March 21, 2024, the event was a heartfelt recognition and celebration of the efforts of law enforcement and community members in making Washougal a safer and a better place for all.
Mayor David Stuebe expressed her gratitude to all the honorees, stating, "Our community is truly fortunate to have such dedicated individuals who work tirelessly to keep Washougal safe and thriving. The Hometown Heroes event is a wonderful opportunity to express our appreciation and gratitude for their service."
