UPDATE: Due to rain in the forecast on Friday, August 2, the AR Chip Seal on Sunset Ridge Drive has been delayed to Wednesday, August 7.

The City of Washougal will have an independent contractor apply asphalt rubber (AR) chip seal, sweep and apply a fog seal to Sunset Ridge Drive. The fog seal will extend the life of the new surface. Scheduling will depend on dry weather conditions. Please see the map attachment below. There will be short term closure and flaggers during this project.

Our goal is to minimize the inconvenience this might cause and provide you with an improved road surface. Your participation and understanding are greatly appreciated. Please remember:
- Depending on the weather the fog seal can cure as quickly as 30 minutes, or take up to 2-3 hours.
- During the cure time all vehicular and pedestrian traffic must stay off the surface.
- Do not park on the treated streets between 7am to 7pm.
