Steamboat Landing Observation Deck Closed for Reconstruction

The observation deck at Steamboat Landing Park is closed until further notice for reconstruction. Ballard Marine of Washougal will complete the work which consists of installing new decking and railing material. Funding in the amount of $55,000 comes from the city's PIF funds. The original observation deck was completed in 1992. Construction is expected to be complete at the end of the summer.
