Support the Camas-Washougal Skate Park

Please join the Parks Foundation of Clark County in helping youth revive the Camas/Washougal Skate Park and make it a lasting cornerstone for our community.

Collaborating with local skaters to build a street-style skate park, the Camas-Washougal Skate Park was first opened in 2002. However, now many of the original features are now gone or do not appeal to today’s skaters. With the addition of skateboarding to the 2020 summer Olympics, there is renewed interest in bringing the aging facility up to date and making it accessible to all. Updating this park gives kids access to healthy activities and friends here in Camas and Washougal. It makes the park an attractive and safe space away from city streets for skateboarders to practice and improve their skills. Park updates will include new features making the Camas-Washougal Skate Park a desirable place for skateboarders for many years to come. This $25,000 grant will help ensure the successful upgrade of the skate park. Other non-profits in Camas and Washougal are also helping with this project for a projected completion date of early 2021.
