The City has contracted Haag & Shaw to complete an intersection realignment project at 39th Street and Evergreen Way. Part of the intersection improvement delay has been a utility pole relocation conflict that has been resolved recently. Contractors will be on-site Wednesday (10/19) to set forms and then pour the curb, gutter, and sidewalk later in the week. The concrete will need three to four days to cure before asphalt is installed the following week.
The purpose of the realignment is to improve site distance for motorists and enhance pedestrian safety and mobility.
PERMIT CENTER ACCESS
Access to the Permit Center parking lot will be limited during this work. For the main parking lot, visitors should enter from southbound 39th Street.
