National Weather Service issues Red Flag and Excessive Heat warnings - Immediate Fire Burn Ban

Due to the National Weather Service issuance of Red Flag and Excessive Heat warnings for this weekend Camas/Washougal Fire Chief Nick Swinhart has issues an immediate ban on recreational fires in the cities of Camas and Washougal.  Barbecues and gas fireplaces are still allowed, but wood burning fires of any type or size are prohibited until further notice.
