Washougal Parks & Recreation Poster Contest for Parks Signage

Poster Contest ExamplesWashougal Parks and Recreation is now accepting entries for poster designs! The new posters will help promote the policy of prohibiting smoking and tobacco use within City of Washougal parks. Entries must be turned in by 5 p.m., March 1st.

Help us with creative ideas for the no smoking/tobacco park signs. Our community elementary and middle-school students are invited to take part in designing artwork that will be incorporated into the signage. Below are two examples of youth-designed, fun, and friendly art used to create park signage.

Between 3 and 5 art designs will be selected to be incorporated into the new park signs.  Winners will receive a framed award of their artwork incorporated into the park sign.  Names of the artists will not be displayed on the signs, due to privacy issues, however, they will be included in the promotional media!
