North of Washougal on SR 500, Lacamas Park is popular for picnicking, boating, fishing, and swimming. Hiking trails cover 312 acres in Lacamas Park on adjacent Round Lake, providing a ringside view of the natural habitat. The unique dark blue Camas lilies grow profusely in this area. Blooming season is in mid-April.

The northern section of the Lacamas Park contains a picnic shelter, rest rooms, and playground areas. South of the lake, below the dam, Lacamas Creek becomes a rushing stream cascading across a unique brick formation called the Pot Holes. Huge old growth trees set off a wilderness area where ospreys and other native birds attract bird watchers.
